The Thompsons
For one day each Holiday season, DSP transforms into something quieter than the season usually allows. Ten families. A private studio experience. A Santa who has never once rushed a moment. This is not a holiday photo stop. It is a memory, made carefully, that your child will carry long after the wrapping paper is gone.
Meet Santa "Alex"
Alex has spent years making children feel comfortable, not performed for. He does not rush. He does not prompt. He simply arrives, and somehow, the room changes. Whether your child runs to him or watches quietly from the doorway, he will meet them exactly where they are.

A private session inside DSP studio. Unhurried, intimate, and designed entirely around your child. Limited to 10 families per year.

The Letter from Santa
In the days before your session, a special detail will arrive to your mailbox at home. A personalized letter, on cream stationery, addressed to your child by name. Inside, Santa writes ahead of your visit... building the anticipation, letting your child know he is expecting them, and that their name is already on his list. It is sealed. It is theirs to open.
What to Expect on the Day
You arrive to a studio that is quiet, warm, and ready for you.
We begin with a few family portraits — a gentle way to settle in and let your child find their comfort before Santa appears.
When the moment feels right, Alex arrives. He moves at your child's pace, not ours. We photograph what unfolds naturally, without prompting or direction.
You leave with the memory already made.
Time with Santa
Time with Santa is unhurried and entirely theirs, whether spent reading, singing, sharing their list, or talking with him about their year.
Santa's Nice List
Your child's name will be added to Santa's Nice List, ready for them to find during their visit.

FAQ
What if my child is shy or nervous around Santa?
Alex is patient, unhurried, and genuinely gifted with children who need a moment. There is no pressure to sit on a lap or perform for the camera. Some of our most beautiful images come from exactly that pause before the magic lands.
Does each child receive their own Letter from Santa?
Yes. Each letter is written individually and addressed to your child by name. No two letters are the same.
When will our gallery be delivered?
Your fully edited gallery will be delivered within 2 to 3 weeks of your session date, via your private online gallery. Just in time to order holiday cards and get them in the mail before the season begins.
What happens if my child is sick on the day of our session?
We understand that children get sick and that life does not always cooperate with the calendar. Please reach out as soon as possible and we will take care of you. Due to the intimate and limited nature of this event, Santa sessions cannot be rescheduled. However, your deposit will be honored toward a full family session at DSP.
